A good day hike starts with packing right. Here's a short checklist.
Footwear: trail shoes or boots with grippy soles — this matters most. Clothing: dress in layers and add a windbreaker, since summits are cool even in summer. Water: 1.5–2 litres, plus a light snack. Protection: a cap, sunscreen and sunglasses. Extras: a power bank, rain jacket, small first-aid kit and cash.
For routes with a swim (like the Badak lakes or canyoning at Eshakopriksay), bring swimwear, a towel and spare shoes. We list the meeting point and time, distance and elevation gain in every tour, so check ahead and pack for the difficulty level.
